how do you rebooth the computer when she locks down/? 2006 JETTA TDI

THE CAR IS A 2006 VW JETTA TDI. The wipers fail to work today,I thought it was the fuse. So i change the fuse, it was the same. So i notice the heater wasn,t working either, i try to change more fuses and lost where the fuses came out.Igot my manual out and put all new fuses back in according to the box chart in the manual.the car wont start , wont come out of gear, brakes light stays on, she gone into shutdown mode.What could be doing this?

I would guess it isn't starting because of the fuses being removed. Start by disconnecting the
battery cables and holding them together for a minute to reset all the computers and see if that helps.
